I was always busy. Rushing around, cramming so much into my days, doing everything, being everything to everyone, it’s what we women do, right?

So what happened? Well, my health started to deteriorate. I kept up the busyness and my need to be in control but eventually my ‘’smokes and mirror’ façade, slowly began to crack. My health became out of control.

As luck would have it, a lovely health coach crossed my path and we had a conversation that change my life. She lent me a sympathetic ear and encouraged me to take back control. That only I had the power to do this.

It took time but I did it, along with the help and guidance of my health coach and practitioner.

My life is still busy and full. Yes that’s right, it’s still busy BUT the difference is, I am not rushing around, I keep it in check, I set firm boundaries with myself and others, I manage my stress and I have learnt the power of saying NO!
